Sultan leaves Bali after APEC meeting

HIS Majesty the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam left Bali, Indonesia after attending the APEC Economic Leadersí Meeting 2013 yesterday.

Accompanying His Majesty were His Royal Highness Prince ĎAbdul Wakeel and Her Royal Highness Princess Ameerah Wardatul Bolkiah.

Before leaving St Regis Bali Hotel, a Doa Selamat was recited by Pehin Datu Seri Maharaja Dato Paduka Seri Setia (Dr) Ustaz Haji Awang Abdul Aziz bin Juned, the State Mufti.

At the Ngurah Rai International Airport to bid farewell to His Majesty the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam were Bapak E E Mangindaan, Minister of Communications of the Republic of Indonesia; Handriyo Kusumo Priyo, Ambassador of the Republic of Indonesia to Brunei Darussalam and senior officials of the Government of the Republic of Indonesia.

Bidding a fond farewell to His Majesty was Brigadier General (Rtd) Dato Paduka Awang Haji Mahmud bin Haji Saidin, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Brunei Darussalam to the Republic of Indonesia and staff of the Embassy of Brunei Darussalam to Indonesia.

Accompanying His Majesty were Pehin Orang Kaya Pekerma Dewa Dato Seri Setia Lim Jock Seng, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade II, and Pehin Datu Singamanteri Colonel (Rtd) Dato Seri Setia (Dr) Awang Haji Mohammad Yasmin bin Haji Umar, Minister of Energy at the Prime Ministerís Office. - Borneo Bulletin (9 October 2013)
