HIS Royal Highness Prince Mohamed Bolkiah, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade, yesterday attended the Asean Foreign Ministers’ Retreat in Bagan, the Republic of the Union of Myanmar.

The retreat is the first Asean Ministerial Meeting to be held in 2014, under the Chairmanship of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar.

HRH also held a bilateral meeting with Mr Pham Binh Minh, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, and joined Asean colleagues for a Ministerial lunch.

On Thursday night, HRH was welcomed upon arrival at the Nyaung U Airport by Dr U Win Hlaing, Minister for Social Affairs of Mandalay Region. - Borneo Bulletin (18 January 2014)
