RBPF celebrates Crown Prince’s birthday

THE Royal Brunei Police Force (RBPF) yesterday celebrated the 40th birthday of His Royal Highness Prince Haji Al-Muhtadee Billah, the Crown Prince and Senior Minister at the Prime Minister’s Office, in his capacity as the Deputy Inspector General of the RBPF, at the Police Officer’s Mess.

His Royal Highness Prince Haji Al-Muhtadee Billah was welcomed upon his arrival by Police Commissioner, Dato Seri Pahlawan Awang Bahrin bin Mohd Noor with Pehin Datu Singamanteri Colonel (Rtd) Dato Seri Setia (Dr) Awang Haji Mohammad Yasmin bin Haji Umar, the Minister of Energy at the Prime Minister’s Office and other senior officials.

Accompanying His Royal Highness were Her Royal Highness Paduka Seri Pengiran Anak Isteri Pengiran Anak Sarah and His Royal Highness Prince ‘Abdul Malik.

The birthday celebration ceremony began with the signing of a parchment followed by a group picture session.

The highlight of the ceremony was the birthday cake-cutting ceremony by His Royal Highness Prince Haji Al-Muhtadee Billah. This was followed with the pre-sentation of a ‘pesambah’ to His Royal Highness by the Police Commissioner.

Before the ceremony’s conclusion, senior personnel from the RBPF greet-ed His Royal Highness Prince Haji Al-Muhtadee Billah, Her Royal Highness Paduka Seri Pengiran Anak Isteri Pengiran Anak Sarah and His Royal Highness Prince ‘Abdul Malik.

His Royal Highness Prince Haji Al-Muhtadee Billah was appointed Deputy Inspector General of the RBPF on May 5, 2005. - Borneo Bulletin (19 February 2014)
