Sultan grants audience to two new envoys

HIS Majesty the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam yesterday afternoon consented to present the Letter of Credence to Brunei’s newly appointed Permanent Representative to Geneva, Switzerland, Dato Paduka Awg Haji

Mohd Mahdi bin Pehin Orang Kaya Digadong Seri Diraja Dato Laila Utama Awg Haji Abdul Rahman, and to receive the Letter of Credence from the newly appointed Ambassador of the Republic of Korea to Brunei Darussalam, Cho Won Myung.

Following the ceremony, His Majesty then consented to receive in audience the newly appointed envoy of Brunei to Geneva, who previously served as the Ambassador of Brunei Darussalam to the Arab Republic of Egypt.

His Majesty then granted an audience to the newly appointed Ambassador of the Republic of Korea to Brunei Darussalam, who previously served as the Senior Assistant Secretary to the President for Foreign Affairs at the Office of the President, Republic of Korea. - Borneo Bulletin (25 November 2014)
