HIS Majesty the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam, the Minister of Defence and Supreme Commander of the Royal Brunei Armed Forces, yesterday consented to receive in audience General Tanasak Patimapragorn, the Chief of Defence Force of the Royal Thai Armed Forces, who is on a working visit to the Sultanate.
During the audience, His Majesty consented to confer a state decoration, ‘Darjah Paduka Keberanian Laila Terbilang Yang Amat Gemilang Darjah Pertama’ (DPKT), which carried the title, ‘Dato Paduka Seri’, to the Chief of Defence Force of the Royal Thai Armed Forces.
Present during the audience were Apichart Phetcharatana, Ambassador of Thailand to Brunei Darussalam, and Air Marshall Adisak Klansnoh, Deputy Chief of Defence Force, Royal Thai Armed Forces.
Also present were Dato Paduka Awang Haji Mustappa bin Haji Sirat, Deputy Minister of Defence; Pehin Datu Pekerma Jaya Major General Dato Seri Pahlawan Mohd Tawih bin Abdullah, Commander of the Royal Brunei Armed Forces; Dato Paduka Haji Hamdan bin Haji Abu Bakar, Permanent Secretary at the Prime Minister’s Office; and, Colonel (Rtd) Pengiran Dato Paduka Haji Azmansham bin Pengiran Haji Mohamad, Permanent Secretary (Defence Policy and Development) at the Ministry of Defence.
